The Circle of Leadership in the Episcopal Community of Daughters of the King

Statement of Introduction
On the Feast of the Epiphany 2008 a diverse group of members of The Order of the Daughters of the King from across the country gathered for a time of reflection and discernment. In the course of our reflections we realized a common calling: we are committed to working within the Order and that we have gifts to offer which we believe can help strengthen Daughters of the King chapters and offer a springboard for Daughters at Large to feel connected to the Order.

These gifts fall into the categories of education, spiritual formation and leadership development. Our desire is to empower individual Daughters and chapters to live into their vows of prayer and service.

We invite your prayers as we all move forward on this journey.

We are your servants in Christ,

The Episcopal Community of Daughters of the King.

The Blue Candle: In March of 2007 this site was targeted by the Executive Board of the National Council of the Order of the Daughters of the King for  "infringing on trademark and intellectual property rights" by using the logo of the cross that appears on hundreds of other web sites.

In order to comply with the demands from their lawyer, the cross logo has been removed from this site and replaced with this Blue Candle. We will keep the candle burning until the day when Episcopal Daughters may once again claim their FULL rights as members of the Order.
